Splendid light show to illuminate Rhône-Alpes region pavilion

The Rhône-Alpes region of France will stage a 20-minute magnificent light show at its pavilion through the six-month Expo to exhibit its energy-efficient illumination system.
There will be seminars and performances centering on Rhone-Alpes's lighting technology and art, which is human-oriented and can help reduce light pollution and relieve eyestrain.
The system will also light up some areas of the 
Urban Best Practices Area covering 15 hectares.
The case entitled "Lighting Cities" highlights architecturally eco-friendly concept. The 3,123-square-meter pavilion uses special bricks that can keep warmth and filter solar radiance.
Facilities inside the pavilion can control temperature automatically according to the climate outside.
There will be a rose garden covering 670 square meters at the square of the pavilion, showcasing blossoming scenery of rose during the fair.
Visitors will also be able to taste authentic French delicacies and even learn French-style cooking at the restaurant in the pavilion, which can accommodate 150 to 200 visitors.
The structure is scheduled to be finished by the end of March.
