Romania’s Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010 almost ready

General commissioner of world exhibitions Nagy Ferdinand and the reception board paid a visit to Shanghai, China, January 29 – February 5, in order to make the intermediary works reception at Romania’s Expo 2010 Pavilion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs.
The delegation met Hu Jinjun, Coordination Office deputy general director and Expo 2010 heads of departments. The topics of discussion related to the specific activities to be carried out during the exhibition, such as customs affairs, cultural events, economic forums and protocol.
It also met the members of China-Romania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Investments from Shanghai, and agreed upon the joint organisation of a series of economic activities.
Our country’s pavilion is structured around the ‘Green City’ concept, a green apple-shaped and displaying the ‘Greenopolis’ logo, representing a statement related to the importance of applied solutions for a healthy lifestyle, sustainable development and knowledge.
