Kyrgyz businessmen to participate in EXPO 2010 in Shanghai

(eng.24.kg) Kyrgyz businessmen will participate in World Expo “EXPO 2010” in Shanghai (China), Dair Tokbaev, adviser to president of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry said Tuesday at the press conference.
Kyrgyz businessmen reportedly will get an opportunity to represent business to foreign partners. At least 174 countries and 50 world biggest corporations will participate in EXPO 2010. It is planned that about 70 million people will attend it.
We intend to promote business-projects of our companies on the world market, he said.
Temir Erkinov, General Director of “EXPO-2010” said that it will run from May to October. Currently they are preparing and choosing businessmen to represent their goods and services in China.
Kyrgyzstan will have a 340 m3 pavilion to introduce domestic production to foreign businessmen with the help of electronic database, web-sites, presentations, booklets” Erkinov said.
