Xiamen Airlines adds more flights for Shanghai World Expo

Flight capacity has been intensified as Xiamen Airlines has started to implement the summer & autumn flight schedule, the airline said on Monday.
In particular, the number of flights flying from Fuzhou to Shanghai has been increased to 23 in an effort to facilitate tourists to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo which will be open on May 1.
Among these, 4 flights have been added to the Xiamen-Shanghai (Hongqiao Airport) route, making the total number of flights reaching 11. The number of flights from Fuzhou to Beijing has increased from 6 to 7 during the summer & autumn season.
Xiamen Airlines also opened Fuzhou-Jinan-Dalian and Fuzhou-Nanjing-Taiyuan routes during the new season.
In addition, 4 more ferry services will be added to the Xiamen-Kinmen direct route at Dongdu Ferry Terminal next month, according to the Xiamen Entry-exit Management Office. By then, the number of ferry services on the Xiamen-Kinmen route will be 36.
