Commemorative stamps album for Shanghai Expo issued

The stamp album to commemorate the Shanghai World Expo, named "Wonderful Shanghai Expo, World's precious stamps", was published by China National Philatelic Corporation and issued in Beijing recently.

The album has limited editions of 8,000 worldwide.
"As an important component of the culture of the World Expo, the stamps have been accompanying each Expo and witnessing the development of the World Expos since their born in 1893," Liu Mingyan, general manager of the China National Philatelic Corporation said.
The album collects all the commemorative stamps that China Post have issued to commemorate the Shanghai Expo, the "Shanghai Expo Park" themed miniature sheets and block of postage stamps that issued by China Post in a limited edition and stamps in the theme of the pavilions of the 43 countries and areas and 34 Chinese provinces and autonomous regions.
Also, commemorative stamps in the theme of the cities and lifestyles in more than 100 countries and regions, as well as some precious materials about the previous World Expos are collected in the album.
