Guangdong province seeks to be host of 2020 World Expo

Even before the World Expo in Shanghai has started, Guangdong province is hoping to host the event in 2020.
(chinapost.com.tw) Chen Wenjie, a Guangdong official, disclosed this while in Shanghai for the opening of its pavilion, the Chinese press reported.
After Shanghai, the next Expo will be held in Milan, Italy, in 2015.
Wan Jifei, vice-chairman of the Shanghai Expo organizing committee, told the Southern Daily that Guangdong had his support because of its strong economy and sound infrastructure.
