Expo Axis wins Global EcoTecture Award

Recently, the new list of "Global EcoTecture Awards" was published on the journal "Times of Architecture" attached to Fudan University in China. Expo Axis, a permanent landmark of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo won the award finally.
The Expo Axis, 1,045 meters long and 100 meters wide, is the main axis for visitors' transportation between pavilions and sights, and also the biggest single building on the Expo Site. It was well-designed and constructed using concepts of ecology, environmental protection and energy-saving to explain the "better city, better life" motto of Shanghai World Expo.
