Epuramat’s Box4Water at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai
2009. 16 June
(epuramat.com) Epuramat will exhibit its highly efficient “Box4Water” container wastewater treatment facility at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. The “Box4Water” solution will be set up at the Luxembourg Pavilion, and will be accessible to visitors for the duration of the exhibition.
Cleantech company Epuramat, which specializes in wastewater treatment, is pleased to announce that its “Box4Water” container wastewater treatment system will be featured at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. "Box4Water“ is a highly efficient wastewater treatment system whose 250-residents model can easily fit into a 20' container. The enormous space savings are the result of Epuramat’s high-performance mechanical pre-treatment process made possible by its extreme separator (“ExSep”) technology, for which a patent has been filed. The Epuramat technology allows for a radically simplified treatment process which requires much less space than conventional market solutions. "Box4Water“ will be accessible to the public for the duration of the world expo, which starts in May 2010. An integrated video screen will provide continuous information on the technology’s functional processes.

Robert Goebbels, Commissioner of the Luxembourg Pavilion for the 2010 World Expo: "We are particularly pleased to welcome a company such as Epuramat, which originated and grew in Luxembourg. Luxembourg therefore presents itself as a suitable location for innovative technologies and success stories in addition to the financial sector."
Founding members of the "Shanghai 2010“ project include the Luxembourg government and Chamber of Commerce as well as long-standing companies ArcelorMittal, Cargolux and SES ASTRA.
The futuristic design of the Luxembourg Pavilion will be created by the renowned architecture firm Hermann & Valentiny and Partners. Based on the guiding principle „yi xiao yi mei – small is beautiful too“, Luxembourg will be symbolically represented as a modern and open fortress.
