Samoa's Prime Minister celebrates National Day

The Prime Minister of Samoa, Honorable Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi led a delegation from the Independent State of Samoa to celebrate National Day at the World Shanghai Expo on Sunday August the 1st 2010.
The Samoa delegation included the Prime Minister, a Cabinet Minister, the Attorney General, Government officials, Private Sector representatives and Samoa’s Ambassador to China, HE Tapusalaia Terry Toomata. Commissioner General for Samoa, Her Excellency Sonja Hunter said “today’s occasion is significant for the people of Samoa as it also commemorates over 30 years of diplomatic ties with China.’
The Samoan Dance troupe dressed in white to depict ‘white Sunday’ back home in Samoa, thrilled the VIP delegation and the crowds with their spectacular song and dance performances at the Expo Centre.
