Chinese journalists to explore the innovations in Finland

Invited by Finland at Expo 2010, a media delegation visited the Greater Helsinki area during the last week of May.
The journalists were from Wenhui Daily, Economic Daily, 21st Century Business Herald, Shanghai Morning Post and Xinming Evening News. Under the topic of Innovations in the Cities, the journalists met with Finland at Expo 2010, Greater Helsinki Promotion, City of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, EK, TEKES, Sitra, Ministry of Education, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, VTT, Finnair and University of Art and Design Helsinki. They also visited Finnish companies including UPM Kymmene, Stora Enso, Kone, Nokia and Enfucell. Apart from the official visits, journalists also had an opportunity to experience design streets, Finnish traditional sauna, smoked salmon and reindeer meat.
