Tickets go on sale for Shanghai Expo

In what could be good news for business people in the northwest, tickets for the eagerly awaited Shanghai Expo are now on sale.
Ticket outlets across China and the rest of the world have now begun stocking passes for the event, which has been dubbed the Business Olympics by some insiders.
It is thought that 70 million people are to head to Shanghai, which will host the expo from May 1st to October 31st 2010, in order to see some of the newest developments in products and services.
The Associated Press quotes the Expo Bureau as saying that over three million tickets have already been sold since advanced orders started being taken in March.
"Expo is a chance to see the most advanced technology and the glamorous new life that awaits us," one man told the news organisation.
Liverpool is to have a stand at the Expo next year and could see as much as £50 million in benefits generated thanks to the exposure from the event.
