Dr. Jean Ping is on an official visit to China

Dr. Jean Ping, Chairperson of the African Union Commission is on an official visit to China following an invitation by the Chinese Government beginning on Sunday 6 to 11 September 2009.
During the visit, Chairperson Ping will exchange views in an audience with the Chinese Prime Ministers, H.E. Wen Jiabao.
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission will equally meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, H.E. Yang Jiechi as well as the Chinese State Counsel, H.E. Dai Bingo
A meeting with the African Diplomatic corps in China also features on the program of the AUC Chairperson’s visit to China.
Meanwhile, Chairperson Ping will visit the African pavilion of the 2010 Expo zone in Shanghai.
