Fourteen participants receive pavilions

The 2010 World Expo organizer yesterday handed over rented pavilions to a group of countries and international organizations on the sidelines of the Fourth International Participants Meeting.
The countries and international organizations that signed rented pavilion hand-over memorandums with the organizer are Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Cuba, Egypt, Hungary, Liyba, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, the International Development Information Network Association (DEVNET) and World Trade Center Association.
Hong Hao, director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, signed the agreements on behalf of the organizer.
He urged participants to start interior decoration and arrangements for exhibitions upon receiving the pavilions.
Jean-Pierre Lafon, president of the Bureau of International Expositions, and Vicente Loscertales, secretary general of the Bureau of International Expositions, were present at the ceremony.
