2009. 21 October

( Souvenirs for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, including licensed products made of precious metals and commemorative coins have been available in Lhasa, according to Tibet Business.

"Though there is still time to go before the World Expo opens, I've known a lot about it via the Internet and TV," said a woman surnamed Li who was choosing souvenirs at a franchised store on the Jiangsu Road in downtown Lhasa.

When Li is on her way home after work everyday, she can see those billboards bearing the image of the cute World Expo mascot Haibao. "Knowing that the souvenirs have been for sale in Lhasa, I'm here for them specially," she said excitedly.
