Hypsos Selected as the Project Manager

After working on the design development of the Urbanian Theme Pavilion for the last two years, Hypsos is starting another prestigious World Expo project, this time for the Hong Kong Government.
Hypsos was selected as the Project Manager for the Hong Kong Urban Best Practice Pavilion for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo. The theme of “Hong Kong Connect – Smart Card, Smart City, Smart Life” showcases Hong Kong’s leading role in the development and utilization of technology to make the lives of its inhabitants more comfortable and efficient. The high tech theme demands a high tech installation.
Hypsos was selected because of their strong background in managing the design development, fabrication, installation and execution of complex multimedia within unique environments. As the partner of the Hong Kong Government, the Hypsos role is to ensure the successful development of creative content, the professional management of project finances, the timely and successful construction of the Pavilion in keeping with Expo requirements, and the reliable implementation of smartcard technology illustrated utilizing LED walls, high definition displays and real-time external interactive visitor links.
Next to this project, Hypsos is already working, together with design agency Kossmann.dejong, on developing the design of Urbanian, one of the most prestigious pavilions at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. Urbanian is one of the five Themed Pavilions, having a footprint of 1400 m2 and is a towering 22 metres high.
