Expo Provides Ideal Opportunity To Sell Image Globally

(shanghaidaily.com) The Shanghai 2010 World Expo would provide a rare opportunity to build a "Shanghai image" and sell the city to the world, top global corporate executives said yesterday at the 21st International Business Leaders' Advisory Council. "It is not only for the promotion of products or infrastructure construction, but also for demonstration of services, its academic environment and many other strengths of the city," said Eckhard Cordes, chief executive officer of Metro Group. To the glee of council members, their gathering with the Shanghai mayor next year will take place on October 10, during the World Expo.
