CNOOC GB-IV product oil available in Shanghai market

2009. 20 November

(tradingmarkets.com) High quality GB-IV gasoline and di esel made by China Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is now available i n the company's service stations in China's economic hub Shanghai.

The gasoline and diesel, products of CNOOC's Huizhou refinery in Guangdong province, will help to meet the demands in the city during the Shanghai Expo 2010.

This is the first batch of such product oil that CNOOC provides in Shanghai market. The GB-IV gasoline and diesel could meet environmental protection stan dards required by the coming grandiose Expo.

China's GB--IV standard is an emission control standard similar to that of Euro-IV. CNOOC is the parent company of CNOOC Ltd (CEO.NYSE).
