CBN Prime-Time Ad Rates Up 20% Next Year

Qin Jia Yuan Media Services Company Limited (Stock code: 2336; hereinafter referred to as the “Group” or “QJY”) announces increase in prime time advertising rate on China Business Network which the Group has exclusive advertising rights from 1 January 2010 onwards.
China Business Network of the Shanghai Media Group announced a 20% rate increase from 1 January 2010. The Group accordingly also increases the prime time advertising rate on China Business Network which it has exclusive advertising rights, by 20%.
The increase of the advertising rate of China Business Network goes far beyond the average increase of advertising rate by other provincial TV stations indicating Shanghai’s economic advantage. Shanghai will host the World Expo 2010 and the new Disneyland theme park will be built there and the State has announced that Shanghai will become the financial centre of China.
All these factors will boost the city’s economic growth. Shanghai carries heavy weight in China as New York does in the U.S. The consumer market is going to remain strong and the advertising industry will surely lead the way.
