HK group to attend Shanghai Expo meeting

Permanent Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Joshua Law will lead a delegation to Shanghai to attend the third meeting on Hong Kong and Macau's participation in 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
Members of Hong Kong delegation include representatives from the Constitutional & Mainland Affairs and Commerce & Economic Development Bureaux, and from the Information Services, Leisure & Cultural Services and Architectural Services Departments and from the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Shanghai.
The meeting will be held tomorrow. Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau Director Hong Hao and Deputy Director General Chen Xianjin, representatives from the Macau Government, and officials from the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office of the State Council will also attend.
The delegation will return to Hong Kong tomorrow evening.
Shanghai Expo will be held from May 1 to October 31, 2010. Hong Kong will build and operate a pavilion, take part in the Urban Best Practices Area exhibition, organise activities and performances, and build a virtual pavilion and urban best practices exhibit online.
