Shanghai Airport Authority (SAA) and Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today signed a joint-venture agreement to develop closer ties, one that includes the management of Shanghai Hongqiao Airport’s two terminals, and the management of retail at the airport. There are two airports in Shanghai: Hongqiao, which handles mainly domestic traffic, and Shanghai Pudong, the city’s international airport.

(news.gov.hk) The structure of the Hong Kong Pavilion at the World Exposition 2010 Shanghai China has been completed on the eve of the 200-day countdown to the mega event.
Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang and Shanghai Executive Vice Mayor Yang Xiong marked the occasion with a tree-planting ceremony at the site today.
