    1. Bund – No trip to Shanghai is complete without viewing the Bund in both daylight and nightlight. The Bund, also known as Zhongshan Lu, was the center of colonial Shanghai. Along one side are the old buildings dating back to the early 1900’s. Today these buildings house fine restaurants and bars. Stretching along the other side is a promenade along the Huangpu River where you can stroll along and view the modern skyscrapers across the river.

    (thesundaily.com) The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is working on the possibility that senior government officials could have worked in "favour" of pharmaceutical company Venturepharm Asia Sdn Bhd to obtain lucrative deals from the government.

    An MACC senior investigator told theSun today the probe is centred on "inside links" that could have allowed the company to receive a RM19.99 million contract to build the Malaysia pavilion at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, and a RM5.36 million bio-feed grant from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti).     (cctv.com) Chile will build a 2,500 square meter pavilion for the World Expo 2010 instead of renting one as previously planned.

    Chile was the first country to sign up for the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. It's also the first South America nation to build its own pavilion. Chile considers the project to be a long-term investment, and construction will be completed by the end of the year.
